This club partners with USC to give students the essential skills and resources they need in their future careers in the STEM field. Club members will be able to learn and exercise skills in events that sharpen their ability to think like engineers, scientists, and so many more careers that they strive to achieve.

Our Purpose & Vision
California MESA provides educationally and economically disadvantaged students and their families with the essential skills and resources to achieve success in school, career, life, and STEM-related disciplines. CA MESA mobilizes and aligns the resources of California’s diverse educational institutions, industry, and other partners to create and implement an integrated program that maximizes impact and outcomes.
California’s students excel in STEM pathways, from elementary to graduate school and into careers where they accelerate and build the Golden State’s leadership in research, industry, and service.

About Us
Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) helps thousands of educationally disadvantaged students to become engineers, scientists and other math-based professionals urgently needed by industry.
MESA provides a unique combination of enrichment activities, hands-on competitions, academic support, industry involvement and a supportive community environment. MESA is nationally recognized for its innovative and effective academic development program for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. MESA serves middle school, high school, community college and university level students through local centers throughout California. Since its inception in 1970, MESA has had a strong partnership with industry. MESA also partners with all segments of California higher education as well as K-12 institutions. California MESA’s model has been replicated in 12 other states, and is the basis for many other programs. |
